– When using our website
a) Access data

As far as you do not log in, register or otherwise provide information when using our website, only data will be collected that your browser automatically transmits to enable you to visit our site. When visiting our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. DSGVO):

This access data will be transmitted to us by your browser and stored by us in a log file on secure servers for security reasons (for example, to identify attacks) for a limited period of time. As far as personal data is processed, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO for the purpose of exercising legitimate interests. A transfer of the data to third parties does not take place. The data is deleted after a possible statistical, also anonymous, evaluation. User profiles are not created.

Children

b) Data center

Our website is hosted exclusively on our own server systems in Germany in a data center of DNS-Net. The DNS-Net is certified according to “ISO / IEC 27001” and “Trust in Cloud Infrastructure”. The “ISO 27001” is an internationally recognized standard for information security, which considers aspects such as data security, data protection and reliability.

As part of this cooperation, we do not pass personal data directly to our service provider. However, it may happen that the service provider (for example, during maintenance) receives potential access to personal data. – When ordering our newsletter

a) Consent to the newsletter dispatch

We offer you the service of a newsletter to send you periodic information about our company, our services and interesting news from the event and hotel industry by e-mail. For sending the newsletter, we use the so-called double-opt-in procedure. This means that after you have registered, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address specified in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted. In addition, we store your IP addresses and times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to inform you about possible misuse of your personal data.

To mail our newsletter, we use Mailchimp as our provider. Your data stored during newsletter sign-up will be transferred to a server of this company, located in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A., where it will be stored and processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Mailchimp processes the data on behalf and according to the specifications of vip hanse touring C & T GmbH. This is a so-called order processing according to Art. 28 GDPR. We have therefore entered into a privacy policy with Mailchimp in accordance with this provision. In it, we also ensure the protection of your personal information.

d) Newsletter tracking

We point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the emails sent to you include so-called web beacons or tracking pixels that represent one-pixel image files stored on our website. For the evaluation of the user behaviour, we link the above-mentioned credentials and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profiles to tailor the newsletter to your individual interests. In doing so, we record when you read our newsletters, which links you click in and conclude your personal interests. We link this data with actions you have taken on our website.

C) Use of Google Analytics

1. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. D) Use of social media plug-ins

1. We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. We use the so-called two-click solution. When you visit our site, initially no personal information is passed on to the provider of the plug-ins. The provider of the plug-in can be identified by the marking on the box above its first letter or logo. We give you the opportunity to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online service. In addition, the access data mentioned above in this statement will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymized immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, personal data will be transmitted by you to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (with US providers in the USA).
